Kelly Rowland and her husband, Tim Weatherspoon, aren’t just entertainment industry pros—they’re also dedicated parents to two sons.
The couple tied the knot in 2014 and welcomed their first son, Titan Jewell, that November. In January 2021, they expanded their family with the arrival of their second son, Noah Jon.
In 2016, Rowland shared with Parents how motherhood changed her. “I was nervous that I didn’t have the patience to be a good mom because before Titan, I had zero. But now I am very patient.”
Rowland frequently shares family moments on Instagram. In September 2021, she posted a photo of Titan and Noah cuddling, captioned, “My heart beats❤️❤️… I love you with ALL of me!”
Born on Nov. 4, 2014, Titan brought immense joy to Rowland’s life. “When he laughed for the first time, I cried. It was the most beautiful sound I’ve ever heard,” she told in 2015.
Titan inherited his mom’s love for music and enjoys singing and dancing with his family. Now, he’s growing up quickly and exploring hobbies like golfing with his dad, watching NASCAR, and sharing dinner dates with his mom. His Instagram showcases interests ranging from PAW Patrol to modeling Beyoncé’s Ivy Park line. For Titan’s 9th birthday in November 2023, Rowland shared a heartfelt tribute: “You are wildly creative and brilliant! I love you more than you will ever TRULY know.”
Noah Jon was born on Jan. 21, 2021, and Rowland celebrated his arrival with an Instagram post: “On the 21st day, of the 21st year, of the 21st century, Noah Jon greeted us.”
Rowland’s Destiny’s Child bandmates, Beyoncé and Michelle Williams, joined via Zoom to witness Noah’s birth. “It was beautiful,” Rowland said in 2021, adding that her friends immediately took on the role of loving honorary aunts.
Tim Weatherspoon, Rowland’s husband, is a talent manager she met during her Destiny’s Child days. Their relationship grew serious nearly a decade later, leading to their engagement in 2013 and an intimate Costa Rica wedding in 2014.
Rowland credits Weatherspoon with reshaping her views on marriage. “Before I was married, I thought, ‘If it doesn’t work, you just get a divorce.’ [But now,] that’s not an option because I know I have a good man who loves me unconditionally,” she shared with in 2020.
Together, Rowland and Weatherspoon prioritize faith and partnership as they raise their two sons, Titan and Noah.
