Derek Jeter knocked it out of the park with his wife, Hannah Davis Jeter, and their growing team of four. The five-time World Series champion and former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, who got married in 2016, are now the proud parents of daughters Bella Raine, 7, Story Grey, 6, River Rose, 3, and their son, Kaius, who joined the family in May 2023.While the kids didn’t get to witness their dad’s unforgettable career with the New York Yankees, they’ve been there to celebrate every milestone since, including his retirement and Hall of Fame induction.

7-year-old Bella Raine Jeter

Fans first learned about the couple’s pregnancy through a heartfelt essay by Hannah in The Players’ Tribune — a sports media company co-founded by Derek. In the piece, she shared her hopes for the “special” bond she wanted to create between Derek and their children. We want our kids’ lives to be as ‘normal’ as possible. They’re going to be born into such an extraordinary situation. They’re going to have to be some strong little people,” she wrote. “We don’t want them to be defined by their dad’s name — for them, we want him to just be ‘Dad.’ That will be the piece of him they’ll have that the rest of the world doesn’t. It will be special, and it will be theirs.”

6-year-old Story Grey Jeter

The couple’s second daughter, Story Grey Jeter, was born on January 31, 2019. The news of their second pregnancy broke in September 2018, when Hannah was spotted out in New York City with her baby bump on full display. That same week, Derek, while talking about parenthood, casually mentioned to Extra that “there’s a few more” on the way, hinting at Hannah’s pregnancy. Since retiring from baseball, Derek has relished in daddy-daughter moments with Story and her sisters. During a July 2022 interview with Extra, he embraced his “Girl Dad” title, saying, “There’s a whole other side to me.” He even pointed to the growing collection of beauty products in his bathroom as proof.

3-year-old River Rose Jeter

For baby number three, the couple chose not to publicly reveal what they were expecting. Instead, fans learned about their new arrival through a tweet from The Players’ Tribune. Their youngest daughter, River Rose Jeter, was born on December 2, 2021. Like her older sisters, River has kept a low profile on her dad’s social media. However, Derek has often shared how much he loves being a father. “My girls are the absolute best,” he told PEOPLE on the red carpet at the 25th annual Turn 2 Foundation dinner in 2021. “You know, you hear it before you have kids, people will tell you, ‘Oh, wait until you have your own,’ but it really is true.”

Kaius Green Jeter

Derek and Hannah’s youngest, Kaius Green Jeter, arrived on May 5, 2023. The proud father of four shared the news with an Instagram post, showcasing his son’s name and birthday in white text over a black background. “Welcome to the world lil man!!! @hannahbjeter,” the former Yankee wrote in the caption. To celebrate the new addition, Jeter updated his Instagram bio to read, “Sleep-deprived father of four.”
