Draymond Green may be a four-time NBA champion and one of the Golden State Warriors’ most outspoken leaders, but off the court, his most cherished role is being a father to his four kids: Olive, Draymond Jr., Cash, and Hunni. The power forward and his wife, Hazel Renee, each brought one child into their relationship and now share two children together. Juggling the demands of professional basketball and family life hasn’t always been simple, but for Green, fatherhood has become a grounding force and a source of deep self-reflection. I spend a lot of time with my family and my kids. That s— teaches you a lot about yourself,” he shared with Andscape in June 2023. “You learn, ‘Oh, s—, I do that. I need to do this differently because they get that, too.’ Spending a lot of time with my kids has taught me so much about myself.”Green’s children are often by his side at basketball games, practices, and press conferences, where their lively presence is hard to miss.

Olive Jay, age 10

Olive Jay, born on Nov. 6, 2014, to Hazel Renee and former NBA player Jacob Pullen, holds a special place in Draymond Green’s life. Since he and Hazel began dating in 2017, Green has built a close bond with Olive, embracing his role in their blended family. Beyond everyday moments, Green and Olive have shared special experiences, including collaborating on a 2023 commercial for the NBA season kickoff in partnership with KIA. Green often celebrates their unique family dynamic. For Olive’s 5th birthday in October 2019, he posted a heartfelt Instagram tribute, expressing his love for Olive and appreciation for Hazel Renee and Jacob as they co-parent together.

Draymond Jamal Green Jr., age 8

Draymond Jamal Green Jr., affectionately called D.J., was born on Dec. 22, 2016, to Draymond Green and Jelissa Hardy. A familiar face to Warriors fans, D.J. has often joined his dad at post-game press conferences, charming everyone with his enthusiasm for the game. As a budding basketball fan, he’s also been seen watching game film from the sidelines and even helping out by handing towels to players during games. For Green, sharing his love of basketball with his son is deeply meaningful. “It’s the most special thing in the world,” he told the NBA in June 2022. “Growing up as a young African-American man with nothing, you go, and you gain all this success, and you make all of this money.”

Cash Green, age 4

Draymond Green and Hazel Renee welcomed their first child together, Cash Green, in October 2020. To celebrate Cash’s arrival, the family adorned their space with pink and white rose bouquets and gold foil letter balloons, marking the joyful occasion. Hazel Renee has lovingly described Cash as “sassy, wild, free, loving, and extremely bright.”Cash shares a playful and close relationship with her siblings, especially her older brother D.J. Their lively bond, filled with love and the occasional sibling squabble, often becomes a highlight during their dad’s post-game press conferences.

Hunni Green, age 1

Draymond Green and Hazel Renee welcomed their youngest, Hunni Green, in December 2023. Before her arrival, the family celebrated with a pink smoke and confetti-filled gender reveal in October 2023, joined by her excited older siblings. After Hunni’s birth, she quickly became the center of attention, receiving plenty of love and cuddles from Olive, D.J., and Cash.
