Gordon Ramsay and Tana Ramsay treasure their time together as a couple, but their greatest joy comes from being parents to their six children. The Ramsay family journey began in 1998 with the birth of their eldest daughter, Megan Ramsay, now 26. Their family quickly grew, welcoming fraternal twins Holly Anna Ramsay and Jack Scott Ramsay, both 24, in 1999. Next came Matilda Ramsay, known as Tilly, now 23, in 2001. After a heartbreaking miscarriage in 2016, the couple welcomed son Oscar James Ramsay in 2019, now 5 years old. Most recently, in 2023, they surprised fans with the birth of their youngest son, Jesse James. Tana kept the pregnancy private, later sharing on Instagram that it was a “nerve-wracking 9 months” and declaring, “Ramsay family complete.”

Megan Ramsay, now 26

The couple welcomed their first child, Megan Ramsay, on May 16, 1998. As the eldest of the Ramsay siblings, Megan holds the distinction of being the first in the family to earn a college degree. Gordon proudly celebrated the milestone on Instagram in June 2019, sharing a photo of Megan in her cap and gown. So proud of this young Lady @megan__ramsay our first Ramsay ever to graduate with a degree @oxfordbrookes hard work pays off!” he captioned the post. Being the oldest comes with its perks—and a fair share of memorable moments. In January 2023, Gordon shared on The Kelly Clarkson Show that he wasn’t exactly a fan of Megan’s boyfriend, calling him “pathetic” and admitting to crashing one of their dinner dates.

Holly Anna Ramsay, now 24

Gordon welcomed a double blessing on December 31, 1999, when fraternal twins Holly Anna Ramsay and Jack Scott Ramsay were born. Holly has since used her platform to advocate for mental health awareness. In May 2021, she launched 21 & Over, a podcast focused on breaking the stigma around mental health issues like anxiety and depression. The podcast also serves as a space for Holly to share her own experiences openly and honestly. During one episode, Holly revealed that she was diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety, and depression following a traumatic event while studying fashion design at Ravensbourne University. She shared that she was sexually assaulted and kept it to herself for a year. “I just buried it in a box in the back of my mind,” Holly told her co-host, psychotherapist Talitha Fosh.

Jack Scott Ramsay, now 24

Jack Scott Ramsay, Holly’s fraternal twin, was born on December 31, 1999. In October 2020, Jack joined the Royal Marines, a prestigious division of the United Kingdom’s Navy. Gordon celebrated the milestone on Instagram, calling it an “amazing achievement.” Sharing photos of Jack in uniform alongside family members, the Hell’s Kitchen star wrote, “Can’t tell you enough how proud I am of this young man. Jack Ramsay, you’ve made me feel like the proudest father today.” Before his military career, Jack appeared in four episodes of the 2019 British docuseries Born Famous, which gave the teenage children of celebrities a glimpse into how their parents lived before achieving fame and fortune. Jack also showed his athletic side, participating in the 2019 London Marathon, as shared by his younger brother on Instagram.

Matilda "Tilly" Ramsay, now 23

Matilda “Tilly” Ramsay was born on November 8, 2001, sharing a special bond with her dad as they celebrate the same birthday. I can’t think of a better person to share my birthday with than this adorable, gracious young lady @tillyramsay,” Gordon wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post in November 2021. Tilly returned the love with her own tribute: “I couldn’t think of a better person to share this day with.” Tilly shares more than just a birthday with her dad—she also has a passion for cooking and often collaborates with Gordon on fun TikTok challenges. At just 15, she published her own cookbook, Tilly’s Kitchen Takeover, featuring 60 approachable recipes. My cooking is] a lot easier than [my dad’s] because my recipes … if you don’t have one of the ingredients, it’s not a big deal,” Tilly said during an appearance on This Morning in 2017. “But with Dad’s, if you don’t have one of the ingredients, it doesn’t work as well.”

Oscar James Ramsay, now 5 years old

Gordon and Tana welcomed their son, Oscar James Ramsay, on April 4, 2019. The proud dad shared the exciting news on Instagram, along with sweet photos of himself, Tana, and baby Oscar at the hospital. “After 3 BAFTAs and one Emmy … finally we have won an Oscar! Please welcome Oscar James Ramsay, who touched down at 12:58 today for some lunch! Xxx,” Gordon captioned the post. Fans first learned of the pregnancy when Gordon posted a celebratory Instagram video on New Year’s Day 2019. The clip, captioned “Exciting news! Happy New Year from all the Ramsay’s,” featured the Ramsay siblings sending holiday wishes before the camera revealed Tana cradling her baby bump, sharing the big news with the world.

Jesse James Ramsay, now 1

The youngest addition to the Ramsay family, Jesse James Ramsay, was born on November 8, 2023—sharing a birthday with both his dad, Gordon, and his sister Tilly. Tana and Gordon kept the pregnancy under wraps, surprising fans with the announcement of Jesse’s arrival on Instagram. What an amazing birthday present!
