Blanchard and Urker are expecting their first baby together next month.
Gypsy-Rose Blanchard and Ken Urker are marking their final Christmas before becoming parents.
The Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup star, 33, shared a festive moment with Urker, 31, and her father, Rod Blanchard, and stepmother, Kristy Blanchard, on Christmas Day.
In the photo posted on Urker’s Instagram, Gypsy smiles while gently resting her hands on her growing baby bump. Urker stands behind her, his hand placed lovingly on her lower belly as he beams at the camera.
Rod and Kristy also join in the holiday cheer, standing in front of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree.
“A December to remember! Merry Christmas to all!” Urker captioned the photo.
The image captures the couple’s final Christmas together before the arrival of their first baby. Gypsy-Rose announced her pregnancy on her YouTube channel in July, with the baby due next month.
The photo also marks Urker and Gypsy-Rose’s first Christmas together since her release from prison in December 2023. The Munchausen by proxy victim had served time for her involvement in the killing of her mother.
Urker initially proposed in 2018, but their relationship ended temporarily. Gypsy-Rose then married Ryan Anderson, from whom she filed for divorce in April. After the split, she was seen reconnecting with Urker. Gypsy-Rose and Anderson’s divorce was finalized earlier this month.
In July, Gypsy-Rose confessed to PEOPLE that she was “very surprised” to find out she was pregnant.
“I literally had taken that out of my mind as a possibility,” she said in her first interview since announcing her pregnancy.
“I’m not going to say that I think a baby will fix a marriage or relationship, because obviously, there’s added stress. I know realistically, there will be arguments too,” Blanchard shared about her relationship with Urker. “But [Ken and I] both come from divorced families, and one thing we’ve agreed on from day one, even back when we were dating in 2017, is that when we have a child, we will stick together for the long haul. This is a forever thing because we don’t want our child to grow up in a broken home.”
Reflecting on the type of mother she hopes to be, Blanchard continued, “I want to be kind, so my kids come to me for any kind of advice, just like my stepmother. I’ve seen how she has parented her children — and I think she’s a kick-ass mom. She’s supportive, not overbearing. She lets her kids find their dreams while also picking up the pieces when those dreams fall apart. That’s the kind of mantra I want to live by.”
