Kylie Kelce, already a mother to daughters Bennett, 21 months, Elliotte, 3, and Wyatt, 5, is sharing the amusing reason behind her decision to have a fourth child.
On the Dec. 19 episode of her podcast Wave Sports + Entertainment’s Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce, the pregnant mom of three opened up about why she and her retired NFL player husband, Jason Kelce, chose to expand their family.
“Jason was always like, ‘I’ll do whatever you wanna do,’ and I was always in the camp of wanting four kids, with room for one pleasant surprise,” Kylie, 32, explained. “When we got to three, I thought, ‘Three is great. This feels good.'”
“Then we got through the rough baby sleep stages and all that, and I was like, you know what? I really like even numbers,” she joked.
While Kylie is excited to welcome her fourth child, she doesn’t think they’ll be going for that “pleasant surprise” after all.
“I think it might get shut down after this one,” she said. “We’re gonna have this next kid, and I’m gonna be like, ‘Don’t even look at me. Just eyes on the floor. Don’t look at me.'”
In November, Kylie announced that she and her 37-year-old NFL alum husband, Jason, are expecting another baby, sharing the news in an Instagram post.
“I feel like we captured a very accurate representation of how each of the girls feel about getting another sister,” Kylie wrote in the caption. “At least Ellie, mom and dad are on the same page! 🤷♀️”
The adorable snapshot featured the three girls in matching sweaters with “big sister” embroidered on them. The girls each showed different emotions—Wyatt appeared in disbelief, cupping her hands to her head, Elliotte flashed a wide smile for the camera, and Bennett was pictured in tears.
