It’s the end of an era for Taylor Swift!
The pop sensation, who turned 35 on Friday, December 13, celebrated her recent accomplishments with boyfriend Travis Kelce at an Eras Tour-themed party just days after concluding her record-breaking tour in Vancouver on December 8.
Brittany Mahomes shared snapshots from the festive event on Instagram on Wednesday, December 18. Brittany, 29, dazzled in a shimmering silver fringe mini dress paired with knee-high boots, a nod to Swift’s Fearless album.
Her husband, Patrick Mahomes, rocked a suit that paid homage to the “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart” costume change skit from Swift’s Eras Tour.
Other photos captured Swift in a sleek black dress, her signature red lipstick, and her hair pulled back. The singer posed with Brittany, as well as Chiefs WAG Lyndsay Bell, who stunned in a vibrant pink ensemble reminiscent of Lover, and Swift’s friend Ashley Avignone, who wore a snake around her neck in true Reputation fashion.
Partygoers embraced the theme, donning feather boas and colorful outfits that reflected Swift’s various albums. Friendship bracelets and light-up accessories were scattered across the tables at the cozy venue, adding a cute touch to the Eras Tour-inspired celebration.
On Swift’s birthday, the NFL celebrated the singer by sharing a romantic video featuring her and Travis Kelce. Set to John Legend’s love song “All of Me,” covered by Toby Gad and Celina Sharma, the video showcased heartfelt moments between the couple.
Among the highlights were Kelce joining Swift at her London stop during the Eras Tour and the sweet moment when she ran to kiss him after his visit to see her perform in Buenos Aires.
The video also featured clips of the couple hand-in-hand after various Chiefs games over the past two seasons, alongside some of Swift’s standout game-day looks — including her custom “87” jacket by Kristin Juszczyk.
Late last week, Ed Kelce opened up about getting a special gift for Swift on her big day, noting that it’s not always so easy during a conversation on the Dec. 12 episode of the Baskin and Phelps podcast.
“Buying Taylor a present is like trying to buy Jason or Travis a present,” he explained. “There’s nothing they want that they don’t already have.”
Ed’s solution? He aims to “get something that tweaks the strings of her heart that you spend 10 bucks on. Then she’ll just be all gooey. You got to find something that triggers the emotion.”
This year was full of major career highlights for Swift. Her 149-show Eras Tour reportedly earned a whopping $2,077,618,725 in ticket sales, according to the New York Times. The 14-time Grammy winner also concluded her global, record-breaking tour with a final show on Dec. 8 at BC Place in Vancouver.
During the performance, there was a moment where fans sang “Happy Birthday” to the star in honor of her then-upcoming big day.
And with over 26.6 billion Spotify streams in 2024, the streaming platform named her the most-streamed global top artist for the second year in a row, an achievement Swift called “unbelievable.”
